Rediscover Folkestone’s Creative Quarter - explore an urban village of artists and creatives in the centre of sunny Folkestone this summer.
The weekend starts with Connecting Creatives on Friday night. In an informal setting, creatives will give micro-presentations followed by a chance to network and chat. We will then all be heading outside to explore the First Friday programme. The team behind Last Fridays have put together a bumper programme of events and exhibitions in and around the Creative Quarter for one night only.
Saturday 2 July is all about Open Studios. Artists, creatives, designers and makers will be opening the doors of their studios, offices and homes. Come and say hello to the artists and go behind the scenes of the Creative Quarter.
The evening of Saturday is the start of our music programme. Curated by the Quarter Collective we will be enjoying a night of 808 beats and the very best hip hop, trap and drill artists around.
The fun continues on Sunday with Parkfest. The Quarter Collective have put together a packed programme of family-friendly music, workshops, food and so much more. Spend the afternoon enjoying the sights, the sounds and (hopefully) the sun.
Folkestone Fringe invites the public to take part in Signals for this July's Open Quarter.
Come along to the Folkestone Fringe studio and make your own maritime flag, during this drop-in session - it's fun for all the family! We are working with the communities of Folkestone to share a special message - that will be displayed later in the year above a much-loved street in our town.
