Opening the weekend, come and listen to the solo flute performance delivered from one of the best, Paul Cheneour.
The title of the solo-flute is: Into the Unknown from The Way of Being
"Into The Unknown
Beyond the beyond
Enter a tea shop at noon, where
Harry the Headache is celebrating
Only Courtesy Kindness & Consideration
Are the means of exchange here!"
"Played on alto flute, the piece will explore new sonic textures incorporating vocalisations creating multiple notes (harmonic chords) and will feature extended phrases by way of circular breathing.
The piece will also have a pan-cultural identity referencing both eastern and western musical traditions. The aim is to speak directly to each person's heart and share a profound experience beyond the hear and now."
