Both classically trained; Johnny Tomlinson (piano, keyboards) and Kristoffer Wright (drums, cymbals, percussion) studied Jazz together at Leeds College of Music and have since worked creating and performing across a wide range of styles. Their music with ‘la force’ draws on acoustic and electronic contemporary classical, avant-garde, musique concrete elements underpinned with grooves of European jazz and folk influence.

Johnny and Kris have gained a reputation for giving expressive and engaging performances over their 10 years performing together. Their music is serious, but inventive and often fun and is played with the intention of making people feel well with the world.
