Watchcries debuted their live show in January 2017 at the Electrowerkz in London supporting Conan and since then have played alongside bands such as Rough Hands, Grieved, Ithaca, Pijn, Wren, Dawn Ray’d and Helpless.

In the summer of 2017, Watchcries headed back into Bear Bites Horse Studio in London to record their debut LP Wraith which picks up where the self-titled EP left off. Pushing boundaries and expanding on their sound with a caustic mixture of crusty, swaggering metallic hardcore, sludge and grind with elements of death and black metal, Wraith sees Watchcries sounding more ferocious than ever before.
