John Hammond E is a modern abstract artist local to the Southeast coast of Kent, England, based in the highly acclaimed and world famous Folkestone Creative Quarter, the UK’s largest urban outdoor exhibition of contemporary art. He produces acrylic spin art and paint with varying techniques, using centrifugal force and gravity. All pieces are original and unique.

The machine John uses has been specifically designed and made for purpose, keeping it personal he uses components of his children’s old bicycles. John started painting in his garage with his first machine which was made of wood and used a bicycle retrieved from a skip. John’s art has progressed and now is desired across the world, mainly shipping to the USA.

Spin art is not a new concept, however John brings a different edge to his artwork by using various apparatus, troughs filled with paint amongst others.

Live painting performances will be happening in his studio and gallery over August and September in The Old High Street where new artworks will be created and art, styles, techniques and materials will be discussed.
