Alison Neighbour
Completing the cycle of events for The Chalk Path/Le Chemin de Craie, Alison Neighbour and Gemma Riggs present a filmic installation that offers an alternative perspective on the simultaneous walk experience on both coasts and re-unites the two chalk cliffs recently split by the Channel. Also on display will be artefacts from the ceremonial walk happening on 21st September.
Watch, touch, and listen.
Drop in any time during opening hours. We aim to make this event as accessible as possible - bringing the magic of the cliffs into the town centre. The installation uses a mix of audio, video, and tactile elements to bring the cliffs to life. Exhibition text will be available in large print, and a steward will be present to read it to you if you prefer. Level access is available to the venue via Tontine Street.
If you wish to visit at a calm time of day please ask the venue when their quieter hours are.
Accessibility: Kollectiv has wheelchair accessibility for the downstairs level from Tontine Street.
