Join us for a live mapping event where performance becomes a living archive. Featuring work developed in community workshops, this public gathering re-situates stories and embodied material that systems try to erase - offering acts of remembrance, resistance, and belonging on the land itself. Join us in re-mapping the coast, let your presence be part of the new terrain.
The Body as Data Project is a collaborative performance project working with people impacted by the UK’s border regime. Through workshops, creative research, and live events, this project uses movement, sound, and surveillance technologies to re-map erased stories and challenge systems of surveillance. Together, we reclaim & re-map space, agency, and memory along the Kent coast.
Originally created by artist-researcher Sidonie Carey-Green, and performed by Tom Tegento, this project is now run by a collective of multidisciplinary artists.
