An exhibition showcasing the photography of young artists, exploring stories of soil.

In this time of climate crisis, our awareness of geodiversity has never been more important, particularly the crucial role of soil. Soil is essential for so many important processes including plant growth, storing and cleaning water, nutrient recycling and for the regulation of the carbon cycle.

Terra Firma Framed is the culmination of a project celebrating Geodiversity, as part of a collaboration between youth empowerment charity Positive View and The Kent Downs National Landscape & Aspiring UNESCO Cross-Channel Global Geopark.

A small cohort of young people have participated in 10 artist-led workshops at different locations in the Kent Downs creating work which can be seen in the exhibition.

Accessibility: Brewery Tap is welcoming and inclusive to all visitors, including wheelchair users and people with disabilities. The exhibition has been designed with accessibility in mind, taking into account wheelchair manoeuvrability. We have an accessible toilet. There is roadside parking directly opposite the venue, or additional parking behind the Quarterhouse. There will be somebody there to provide assistance if needed.
