Join Sara Trillo in conversation at The Brewery Tap Garden (with an invited guest) speculating on the possible origin and function of dene holes and their ecological value both historically and today. She will be discussing her encounters with dene holes in the Kent Downs AONB landscape, and will also refer to the experiences of other people who have entered dene hole shafts, either deliberately or accidentally.

Accessibility Information:

The talk will be a formal conversation between myself and an invited guest (tbc), with the opportunity for audience questions at the end. I will not be using any printed materials although I will bring some pieces of chalk that people may handle if they wish. There will be no sudden loud noises or flashing lights. I'm happy to be contacted if you wish to discuss any accessibility questions on [email protected].
