Want to do something in aid of the environmental crisis but don’t know where to start that’s close to you?
A bunch of #Folkestone’s young activists are putting on a free pop-up event- REmark. An evening of DJ sets & design, especially for the #SALTFest 2019 Programme.
Just bring something you think would benefit from being marked with a new design- old clothes, fabrics, objects etc. In the workshop, you can design something visual that can be reused, repeated & recognised- whether it’s a mark, pattern, slogan or image. We’ll explore some different mark-making processes with spray-painting, painting & print.
The aim of this is to create something representable of what #environmentalactivism means to you, which is to be used, worn or shouted across the Festival & beyond. Check out the Extinction Rebellion logo for some inspiration.
