Look Out & Remember Memorial Garden

Three youngsters who died tragically before their time inspired a 2014 Triennial Fringe project called 'Look Out and Remember'.

This ‘Look Out & Remember’ garden provides a quiet place to reflect on loss in particular of those who died young.
The design is based on the double helix, symbolising continuity and evolution. A pebble can be left in the pond to remember a loved one. The loss of 3 young people inspired this garden and a collaboration of local artist working with the mothers created this memorial garden.

Visitors can sit at any time in this beautiful and peaceful setting and look out to sea then follow the winding path down through the cops leading to the sea steps.
We are looking for a stone mason to create a new sculpture for the pond as the ceramic one was broken.
