This is my mantra, and I hope to reflect this in my works, which are either limited edition designs or Artworks and are inspired by Asian Folklore or Ancestral Heritage.
The backdrop of tattooer using multiple textures to canvas and the politics of Chinoiserie in the Victorian era, are both designed to play and respond to the ‘idea’ of West and East.
On a personal note, it enables Lesley to delve into her own personal Lore or the myth of ‘other’
