Collective Spirit arrives in Folkestone
The Folkestone Fringe drew an incredible crowd for a Tuesday afternoon for Lone Twin's ‘Collective Spirit’ as she sailed into Folkestone Harbor on her Maiden Voyage. The FF first outdoor community event brought schools and young and older community members together to dress the Harbour with bunting, banners and origami boats. Music and street performance also greeted the boats arrival as well as some fish and chips for each of the crew.

Drop-in workshops took place for Tues-Thur evening and weekend

Float My Boat Family Workshop - 9 July
A father & son competition invited to take part Come along and make a mimi boat.
Competition for floatability and desgin at 1pm with prizes to win.

Free Kayaking Taster Session - 9 & 10 July, 4.30 - 7pm

Meet the Guys that Made the Boat - Tuesday 10th July 7- 8pm
An evening talk with Lone Twin at the Quarterhouse to find out how more about the project, how the boat was made and stories behind the objects that were donated and used to make the boat.

The event is being organised in conjunction with the Folkestone Harbour Company, Shepway District Council and the Folkestone Fringe. It is also being supported by East Folkestone Together, Folkestone Town Council and the Creative Foundation.
