Finding Common Ground - Journeys with a Coracle - Alison Neighbour
A coracle made as a nest to hold a tiny human within the vast and fragile natural world we are part of.
Date: Thursday 14 - Sunday 17 August
Opening Times: 11:00 - 17:00
Location: The Stables Gallery, Tontine Street, CT20 1JT
Encounter a coracle made entirely of material from the land, a nest in which to be held and to journey in search of a deeper relationship with the natural world. The coracle offers a place to find perspective, to be humble, and to be re-enchanted by all that is bigger than us.
Discover a series of journeys made with the coracle in Eryri (Snowdonia) over 2024-2025; learn about the materials and culture of this little boat; and question your own relationship to the world that holds us.
Work hosted alongside Robyn Neild & Jackie Brown at Stables Gallery
