Ingrid repurposes high-quality menswear into unique sculptural shirts and jackets. Her work challenges us to envisage a post-fast-fashion world where we conserve our resources and reinvent what we already have.
Nikki is revitalising heritage crafts here in Folkestone. Spinning and weaving soft local and merino wools to create heirloom textiles inspired by our coastal environment.
Ingrid Goldstein reclaims discarded textiles, breathing new life into them through reworked designs. Each piece is a statement against consumerism and a celebration of resourcefulness.
Nikki Tompsett founded Dawson Road Studio as a vehicle for her textile work. Originally trained as a painter, she brings her love of colour, texture and a sense of place, into her woven pieces.
