Daniel Tollady continues his Urban Archive: Folkestone from last year's Magic Carpets project. Folkestone is a rich community built from a network of smaller, more intimate communities of people. Urban Archive: Folkestone wants to celebrate this and to unite as many people as possible through the sharing of stories and unique souvenirs specific to the town of Folkestone, including pieces of ballast from the Harbour Branch Line railway tracks. The outcome of this analytical cross-section representative of the town and its inhabitants, a database of narratives that form a bridge of familiarity between the different people that form the town of Folkestone.

Drop into Customs House with a chosen souvenir & be part of this Archive on Saturday 17 Oct. Just book a ticket for yourself and once you do, we'll email you with a 15-minute time slot between 11-1. Feel free to email us at [email protected] if you have a preferred time.
