The exhibition will show mostly recent work with links to previous themes. It aims to create a harmonious and cohesive selection of work showing the artists personal response to and celebration of the world around through colour and light.
Stephen is a painter who works in a range of medium including oil,wax and mixed media. His work explores recurring themes and places; gardens, water and the coast. Often the painting are made in series that link and cross reference each other. The surfaces evolve through layers and shifts of colour, light and glazes.
