An audiovisual trail of sounds invoked by ancient symbols and sacred geometry, exploring their mysterious energy and effects in the sonic realm.
The symbols and shapes are used as graphic scores, redrawn in graphical sequencing software, and interpreted radially. A cursor running along each continuous line is programmed to produce and control the parameters of a separate tone. Each symbol forms a unique sonic motif and perpetual interplay of pitch and rhythm that gradually shifts in and out of phase.
The trail takes in a handful of Folkestone’s most popular New Age shops that have been selected for their ambiance.
