Self-expression Through Self-portraiture. A children’s art workshop run by Arts Educator, Mindset Coach & Dot Kids founder, Julie Bevan. Dot Kids inspire children through art, mindset & discussion. The ethos encourages creative confidence, freedom & experimentation, alongside contextual awareness & discussion, which is unique to many other children's art classes.

In addition, Dot Kids run online workshops, art parties and the Dot Kids Podcast, a fun discussion based podcast for children, exploring topics as varied as David Bowie, climate change & feminism.

During this workshop, we will explore the inspirational life & art of Frida Kahlo. Each child will work on their own creative ideas using our discussion and Kahlo as an influence; exploring self-expression through self-portraiture. Your child will bring home creative experiments, handouts and a painted self-portrait on canvas to proudly hang on their wall.

For children age 5 - 16 years old.

This is a drop-off session. Your workshop leader; Dot Kids Founder & Arts Educator, Julie Bevan is fully DBS checked. All materials provided. An apron will be provided for the session, however please ensure that favourite clothing is not worn as sometimes accidents can occur.
