Folkestone’s very own Michael Anthony Wright has spent the last decade taking his unique brand of electronica all over the world, from small basement live sets in his hometown, to Manchester’s Warehouse Project, a recent tour of Asia, and just this winter, at Athens prestigious Plissken Festival.
Brassica is late-night electro, informed as much by acid house as by giallo, italo, avant garde, and even prog rock forms. It’s Wright’s attention to perfection balanced with an absolute need for maximum vibe at all time, which has made his debut full length for Civil, Man Is Deaf, plus subsequent EP’s for Feel My Bicep and Viviod such vital additions to record collections the world over. We’re thrilled to have him on the main stage in Folkestone in 2018.
