An Exhibition of artworks inspired by the sea

The theme is ‘the sea’ and this can be interpreted in a multitude of ways. The artwork in this exhibition has been made specifically with the theme and the show in mind. Artists’ have selected a poem(s) or extracts of, or a short prose piece of writing that has a personal resonance and connection to the sea and their own work. This will also be represented alongside visual examples of artwork in a catalogue.

The aim of the exhibition is to present a high-quality, dynamic show of art that will communicate a wide range of responses and media approaches as a response to the theme.
