Formed in 2015, Montrose Composers’ Club comprises of local composer/performers Aidan Shepherd, Ian Fleming, Matthew Brown, Anna Braithwaite and Phil Self. Their eclectic careers have lent their writing flavours of folk, jazz, cabaret and electronics, allowing them to create genre-defying sounds for savvy ears. Back by popular demand, MCCIV is their third concert as part of Profound Sound and will feature new immersive works for analogue tape loops and string quartet, and further collaborations with local visual and sound artists.
